A career at Glassock & Associates
Becoming and remaining an employer of choice in the financial services industry means we are constantly on the lookout for talented individuals who will add value to our organisation.
If you are a BCom graduate with excellent numeracy and communication skills, and are interested in furthering your career in pension fund administration or accounting, send your CV in MS Word format, along with your matric certificate, academic transcripts and letter of motivation, to email@example.com. Candidates with Everest experience will receive preference.
The Glassock Graduate Programme
The Glassock & Associated Graduate Programme is aimed at newly graduated professionals looking at gaining work experience at the start of their careers. It provides a stepping-stone into the financial services industry while producing professionals with superior knowledge of the pension and tax acts.
The Glassock grad programme runs over two years and includes both classroom and on-the-job training. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of financial topics, including fund accounting and risk management, and retirement fund administration.
By the end of the two years, graduates will have gained crucial professional skills, learnt a great deal about life in the working world and gained competence in Pastel, Everest and Caseware.
Do you qualify?
We are looking for bright, self-driven and results-oriented individuals with:
- A good understanding of basic accounting
- Above-average numeracy skills
- Excellent client liaison, project management and planning competencies
- Outstanding business communication capabilities
- The ability to work individually as well as within a team
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.
Only candidates who are willing to put in the full two years should apply. Because of the significant investment on the company’s part, graduates who leave before the end of the contract will be liable for all training costs incurred.
